The Berkeley hotel website is one of the sleekest and most elegant I've seen. It echoes the brand completely, with a stylish design edge that's uncluttered, spacious and more accessible than the venue itself. The site is full of big beautiful images from the hotel and browsing it feels more like flicking through the pages of a glossy homes magazine than your typical hotel site. The navigation is straightforward and the site is easy to use. All the staple information is here about the hotel, its rooms, restaurants, bars and spa, as well as weather forecasts. The reservation engine is thorough and offers links to sister hotels Claridges and The Connaught, and also provides detailed information for local and international users wishing to call the hotel to book. All in all, The Berkeley site manages to jam in a lot of information, all the while maintaining an uncluttered design and upholding the elegance and sophistication of the hotel brand.
