LOVEFiLM has rapidly become the UK and Europe’s leading online DVD rental and film business, and its website is already one of the UK’s top three entertainment sites with over 2.5m unique users a month.

We are now looking for Advertising Sales Professionals to join a growing in house team responsible for generating revenues from online and offline advertising and partnerships.

If you have experience of selling premium online media to clients and agencies directly, have an eye for opportunity and know how to negotiate and close deals we’d like to hear from you.

Ability to work to targets, execute and deliver on campaigns, and develop strategic relationships with key clients and agencies are all required, as is a passion and drive that will help build one of the most successful e-commerce businesses in the UK. The position’s are full-time, and based in our West London offices.

The Role
• Proactively drive revenue from new business and existing customer base.
• Sell LOVEFiLM’s portfolio of creative and targeted online and offline solutions.
• Account manage some of the UK’s leading online media agencies & clients.
• Represent LOVEFiLM at client and agency meetings and industry events.
• Own campaigns from the initial pitch through to successful result.
• Understand prospective clients business needs and develop appropriate, creative
sales proposals.
• Be a proactive and creative member of the team.
• Work closely with web development, trafficking and marketing teams to ensure brand. values and great customer experience are upheld.

Essential skills
• Experience in selling an online entertainment publisher to clients and agencies direct, and an address book full of contacts!
• Target driven and highly motivated.
• Great presentation skills and ability to pitch for campaigns.
• Great interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and an analytical approach.
• Excellent understanding of online buying methods CPM, CPA, CPL etc.
• Familiarity with and passion for new technologies in the online media world.
• Experience of inventory management, pricing techniques & inventory analysis.
• Strong understanding of campaign management and optimization techniques.
• Ability to work towards targets and be sales driven.
• An understanding of the new media marketing landscape from a client or agency perspective.
• Commitment to a customer first philosophy.
• A drive to produce excellent work and clear professional goals.
• Ability to contribute strongly to a team whilst also focusing on personal goals.
• Enthusiasm for selling one of Europe’s hottest entertainment publishers.

Desired skills
• Experience in selling to film/TV clients.
• Experience in offline print sales, magazines or classifieds.
• Experience in European and International online sales, Fluent in German.
